In 2012, I arrived in North London with my family, ready to start a new chapter in life. For years, I worked as a doula, helping families welcome their little ones into the world with care and love. But when the Covid pandemic hit, everything changed. Hospitals shut their doors to doula services, and I found myself at a crossroads.
That’s when I turned to my greatest passion—cooking. Food has always been my way of staying connected to my roots, especially the flavors I learned from my grandmother. Her warmth, her recipes, and the love she poured into every dish have stayed with me all these years. I channeled that passion into a new career, working at The Red Bull restaurant and quickly becoming a sous chef.
Today, I cook for families in their own homes, creating traditional Jewish and Israeli dishes that bring people together. Whether it’s fluffy kneidlach, homemade pastrami, or sweet challah for Shabbat, each dish is crafted with love, just as my grandmother taught me.
